Rushan Gao博士在作报告

应曹军骥研究员邀请，美国国家海洋和大气管理局（NOAA）地球系统研究实验室（ESRL）化学科学室Rushan Gao教授于8月20日至25日访问中科院地球环境研究所。

访问期间，Rushan Gao博士参观了气溶胶实验室，并做了四场学术报告：1)Relative humidity in low-temperature cirrus clouds; 2) Laboratory creation of a new H₂O/HNO₃ condensate with higher water pressures than pure ice; 3) Quantifying the hygroscopicity of black-carbon aerosol in the ambient with measurements and theory; 和4) Global-scale measurements of black carbon and their applications。在报告中，他详细解释了实验室模拟情况下云凝结核的特征和影响因素，及大气黑碳气溶胶的吸湿性及测量理论和气候效应，为地球环境研究所开展云化学和单颗粒黑碳研究提供了巨大帮助。

Rushan Gao博士主要从事飞行器测量对流层和平流层底微量气体和气溶胶的研究，以及黑碳气溶胶气候效应研究，在Science等杂志发表多篇有影响的研究论文。
